About

Matt Katherman is NYC-based audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist, an artist, and all-around nice guy.

Matt specializes in film and television scoring, original music composition, audio mixing, session recording, post production, and film and podcast editing. He’s also proficient in both auto and manual screen printing.

A Virginia Beach native, he graduated from Full Sail’s Audio Engineering school in 2005. Since then, he has worked with commercial clients including Discovery Channel, TLC, NPR, Bass Pro Shop, Febreze, McDonalds, and Zaxby’s.

At Clay Gardens Studios, he engineered award-winning musicians including Virginia String Quartet, Kishi Bashi, and Chad Hugo. In 2016, he was awarded Producer of the Year by VEER magazine.

When he’s not creating, he’s watching Hitchcock films, playing with his darling dog Sadie, and enjoying New York with his family.
